also, check out cutxpaste.com, i sent some holiday papergoods and special edition pouches made out of liberty fabric. i'm so excited to have stuff on Jenny's site, her's was the first place i sold my handmade stuff back in 2003!

 i added some new stuff to my shop for autumn! And i finally made a new desktop calendar! it's under 'fun.'i hope everyone had a nice summer...mine was weird. i moved, i got a dishwasher + cable, i lost my cat Kitty and then found her 2 weeks later. it was so weird i'm drawing a comic book about it! anyways, i'm so glad autumn is here!
p.s. - did anyone go to renegade last weekend? i think it was my favorite yet. i heard the nerdy guy from Hustle & Flow was there but i didn't see him...and i swear i saw that guy Yes from Road Rules Semester at Sea. if it wasn't him, it was his twin!

i've been having the craziest/busiest few months (moving, making stuff, working on RCF!)...I'll be updating my shop after Renegade and add a new desktop calendar, i can't keep up with them lately! they'll be back tho! back to work!
P.S. don't forget, Renegade is only 1 1/2 weeks away!

catching up...
1. i restocked the seamripper shop with gocco-ed bird cage stationery!
2. who's on myspace? seamripper is! so is renegade craft fair! add us!
3. i got the new stitch in bitch crochet book, i'm not a very good crocheter :( i'm getting finger cramps and my practice swatch is spiraling and not laying flat...grr!!!
4. in the past month, my job at the animal shelter has been IN....SANE! first, there was a streaker (!!!) in the back alley. the cops came. then, a german shephard got loose outside, i had to chase him 6 blocks. his name is denny. AND i got dragged to ground in the snow by a chocolate lab named nigel!

 I sewed for a couple hours today, so hopefully I'll have new stuff at seamripper by next week! IN THE MEANTIME...I added a downloadable, printable recipe for my favorite vegetable soup...I think my most favorite thing to draw is vegetables. it's under 'FUN'! |

 does anyone know of a good knitting sweater pattern for someone who's never knit a sweater before? i'm getting tired of only making hats, just like i did for scarves. plus i just got scrubs from netflix and i want to multitask!

i added a new calendar!
my shop is still closed but there are new things in the works (change pouches, magnets, etc....) i've been lazy about posting here lately...i have to peel myself away from the tv since i got miami vice season 2 on dvd...it's not as enthralling as season 1, but it does contain: dan hedaya, pirates, zombies (!!!), gene simmons + the nuge. they still haven't shown where tubbs lives....hmmm? am i insane? ok happy new year everyone! |

i finished my quilt the other day! (no closeups cuz i messed up on the bias tape in a few places.) it's all flannel and my favorite part was washing it and seeing it look all bunched up and weathered. i'm already starting a new one for my mom.
seriously, i can't get over how much i love the fall... all the best movies, music, books, food, clothes, foliage, weather...it seems like i wasn't interested in anything until now. i just downloaded the new cat power song. i'm going to see her in concert on my birthday here ( i wonder if she's going to have a meltdown). also, there are like 6 movies i want to see right now, and i haven't wanted to see any all year. especially, this one, but i can't find out when it's playing in chicago....i hate when movies open in l.a. and new york first...
i haven't posted any doodles lately so here's a cereal box i drew:
